Mini Jars - Chutney - The Spicy Selection

Mini jars are a great idea for a single person, or if you want to try something new, or just for something you don't eat often enough for a larger jar. Each jar is enough for a couple of servings. They can also be purchased individually by choosing the variety from the main shop and then choosing the mini jar size at checkout. 

5 mini jars of home made chutney, all have a little extra heat or spice level. Each jar is approx 70g.

Smoky Chipotle Tomato Chutney - We grow our own Jalapeno Chillies, then smoke them in a homemade smoker. This is added to tomatoes and onions to make this lovely smoky and hot relish. Ingredients: Tomatoes (46%), Onions, Cider Viengar, Sugar, Tomato Paste, Smoked Chipotle Flakes, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Pepper.

Hot Chilli and Tamarind Chutney: Lots of hot birds eye chillies, with a lovely tang from the tamarind and lime, and only a little sugar. This is a lovely accompaniement to a curry. Ingredients: Cider Vinegar, Chillies, Onion, Rapeseed Oil, Ginger, Turmeric, Demerara Sugar, Garlic, Tamarind, Lime juice and zest, Cumin.

Chilli and Lime Relish - Bitter, sweet and hot. This is a relish rather than a chutney, which means shorter cooking time, crunchier texture and freshness. It has quite a kick from the fresh chillies and all the tangy bitterness of the lime skins. Great with cold meats, curries or middle eastern food. Try a spoonful mixed with cous cous as a side dish. Ingredients: Onion, Sugar, Green Pepper, Cider Vinegar, Limes, Fresh Green Chillies, Mustard Seeds, Turmeric.

Mango Chutney - Classic accompaniment to a curry, or just as good on a sandwich. It has a little heat, combined with the lovely sweet flavour of the mangoes. Ingredients: Mango (47%), Apple, White Wine Vinegar, Brown Sugar, Onion, Ginger, Garlic, Spices, Salt, Chilli, Nigella Seeds. 

Chilli Jam - This is a sweet and spicy jam, ideal for serving with cheeses, stirring into a  stir fry, or spread over roast pork or chicken at the last minute for a sweet and spicy glaze. Even try some on your cheese on toast. Ingredients: Sugar, Cider Vinegar, Chillies, Red Pepper, Pectin.
